Middle School Matchup is pretty unique. Here are couple of graphics to get you started. If you are brand new to MSM we suggest grabbing our new player info packet by clicking the link below.
We form teams, just for one weekend, based on what school and grade you attend! We put you in a school jersey and then you go out and have a total blast playing the game you love with the pals you grew up with.

Who’s Coach Ballgame?
James “Coach Ballgame” Lowe was a 4 year starter at Brown University, where he was a captain and All Ivy League Outfielder. He’s spent the last 20 years coaching youth baseball all over the country. He has partnered with MLB and PLAY BALL to coach camps and grow the game of baseball. He has also partnered with the Chicago Cubs and FOX SPORTS as an ambassador.
The lens Coach Ballgame looks through is simple: Give kids the most FUN day possible, while simultaneously building their character. He has a unique ability to engage kids of all ages through the use of music, poetry, and enthusiasm.

Why am I excited for Middle School Matchup?
I’ve coached the ages of 12 and under for the past 2 decades. Once these kids age out of my program, some become my assistant coaches, but most of them I don’t get to see much anymore . To be able to offer these Middle Schoolers a chance to play in a tournament will be so fascinating, and so rewarding and I believe in #happybaseball!

What is Middle School Matchup?
MSM is a unique weekend tournament for middle school baseball players in areas that do not have formal middle school teams. At MSM we align players by middle school, regardless of skill level, and give them the special chance to take a short break from their current team and play ball with the kids they have grown up with! Smiles and high-fives are guaranteed.
