My son 100% loved this tournament. He was only able to participate in it 2x because he had an injury in 7th grade and wasn't able to participate. But being around all these different players from different schools in a relaxed atmosphere helped him play really well in the tournament. I saw smiles on all the kids faces and the most memorable thing i saw was when the pitcher on the opposing team was warming up, ALL the boys gathered and were laughing and talking to each other because they all knew each other. Just wanted to share with you what an awesome experience we had this weekend. The time spent getting to know the boys that are new friends to my son In middle school was amazing! Although our Downing Diamondbacks came up short today, the memories that were made will last a lifetime. What a great way for us as parents to get to know one another as well! Kudos to everyone who put this tournament together. It’s a great concept and a well run event. Thanks again for a great time. We will be back for our 7th grade year for sure!
