West Texas Baseball Registration

This was my son’s first time playing in MSM and my first time coaching. Being part of a combo/“skittles” team was by far the best experience! 12 boys who didn’t play together before, let alone half who never met before, came together and played selflessness baseball over 2 days. The most rewarding part of it was at the end - while we didn’t win it all on the field, the boys stuck around after the last game to exchange numbers. 12 kids made new friends. I highly encourage more “skittle” teams!

Summer 2021 was my son's third time to play MSM with his pure school team. It's fully expected that these kids would have a fabulous time playing with their school buddies. What is unexpected is how fun it is to play AGAINST players on your regular team! From one of our base runners shaking off the pitcher contemplating a pickoff, to the opposing coach cuing up a couple of our players' walkup songs, this was truly #happybaseball!

The level of competition was incredible. The event was very well run and the communication was also second to none. My son loved the school gear and having the opportunity to play baseball for his school (we'll never understand why baseball can't be a "school sport" in middle school). Our team ended up winning our division so that was a bonus but my son would have loved the experience almost as much if we'd only have played 3 games. My son was also thrilled that the booster club at his school had a social media post announcing it first thing this morning. Such a cool experience all the way around. Thank you for organizing this!
