Area Program Manager

Then we are looking for you.

In 2012 we created a unique format youth baseball tournament, Middle School Matchup, that went viral in North Texas and is now growing (fast) across the nation and we need Area Managers in many major markets. Have a look here if you are not familiar with MSM.

What will you be doing?

This is a seasonal (sort of) position and you will be our ‘boots on the ground’ and we will be really depending on your current youth baseball network to spread the word in your area. We typically have two events per year and work in two ‘sprints’. This is the perfect opportunity for a husband/wife baseball family duo! Here is mostly what you will be doing.

Help find Fields: Communicating with field contacts and making sure we have enough fields and correct sizes based on forecasts.
Umpires: Communicating and coordinating with Umpire organizations.
Tourney Schedule and Operations -Build Schedule in Tourney Machine (we can train and you can practice) and execute tournament weekend.
Assist in gear distribution to players coaches.
Help promote the event in your area by communicating with schools, parents, and other baseball people.

TD experience would be awesome but not needed. We are really looking to train the ‘right people’

Tech Savvy - can learn new internet software really fast. Super Comfy with the interwebs. We have a lot of black magic tech behind the scenes and Tourney Machine can be pretty ‘testy’.

#detailsmatter - you care about details and are organized.

This is a remote position but you will need to be out at the fields for the Tourney and attend a few other meetings and events locally as well...and also be a great brand ambassador with your network.

Pay:

$30-$50 per hour depending on how efficient you work and how well connected you are to your local baseball network. There are also big bonuses in play if we reach some team goals.
